I just purchased the cover it was advertised as rare but there are about 27 of them to me that is not rare. Yes i agree with you.

Keep the stamps on the envelope. They look much better and authentic that way.

27 is pretty rare all things considered for that era of stamped letters, and the appearance is attractive. I think you'd only decrease the value if you chose to soak off and break apart those stamps.
