Odd US Mint Item. Would anyone buy this?

I get these truck security seals that the US Mint in Philadelphia uses every once in awhile. Usually I just throw them away, but wanted to see if there would be any market for this. Denver's is less interesting, but I could sell them too if people wanted one. I was going to put it up on eBay, but I have no clue what to even call it to get any views at all.

Personally no, however, people will buy anything.

Whether you think you can or, think you can't, you're right.

If people are buying 1"x1" pieces of old mint bags then why not a security seal?

How can anyone think of buying it if it's RAW???

if I were you, I'd throw a couple up on ebay in a lot and see what happens. I'm sure theyd sell for SOMETHING.

Someone would likely buy them. HOWEVER.....

Looks like it is unused.... which brings up the question.... is it not government property? Just askin'.....

These are security seals, obviously intended for US Mint security for shipments, storage, or whatever. Just curious on how or why they may be in general public? Used broken ones I can understand.... but unused?

I only got the 1 right now, but I end up with a few every year. I assumed they would sell for something, but I guess I don't know what to call it so it shows up when people search for stuff.

I personally pickup coins from the mint a few times a year and they are required to give me the seal even though I don't need or want it. I have gotten 100+ over the years and I always just trashed them right away.

So they were Government property, but I "bought" it with my coins.

They put it on the box truck latch as a seal with or without a lock so they know if it has been tapered with during shipment.

Definitely collectable, just not sure how big the market is.

It must be sent in to be graded, and then sent to see if you can get a bean.

Those seals come in a box.
How about an unopened, sealed box of seals.

    Certified, and blocked in acrylic.

I didn't know you could actually go to the mint and pick up coins. I would if I could get one of those monster bags of cents into the back of my truck and bring it home and if they would require return of the monster bag.
