This was unexpected! 
I’ve been needing a Buffalo Nickel for the type set, I was considering a nice common date in MS67…
This came in today and changed my grade expectations. A little lower grade, but much more interesting than a 1938-D or the like…
I love the color on this thing!
What do you guys think?

Very nice newp, congrats! My 1913 holdings are rather sparse, I have my Lincolns but my not much else.

The Denver Mint's Die Register book has a page added to show the unused 1913-D Type One Nickel reverse dies returned to the Philadelphia Mint for destruction.

I don't think i've ever seen a nicer '13-D T2 than this blazer.

-Albert Einstein-Mistakes are natural. But repeated mistakes without reflection are something else. That may be the “stupidity” he was referring to. In research, he admitted uncertainty openly. “If we knew what it was we were doing, it would not be called research, would it?” This shows humility. Even a Nobel laureate accepted doubt. That humility makes the quote less cynical and more observational.
