These were very popular for a short time in '89/'90 and some so0ld at large premiums.

Apparently there is very little interest now days.

It's missing the "P" of course. You can just make it out on this one but they all came from Philly bags.

They are collectible but mostly as BU

I don’t think there is much premium on these unless it is at least 75-80% filled.

I have one that I found in circulation around 1989-90. I also saved a Coin World article about them. I'll see if I can find the article and will post it.

I believe I found one after reading the article in CW too. They were quite popular back then. I’ll post a picture if I can find it.

Full-page CoinAge magazine ads had these listed at $80.00 per coin back in the early 90s with the speculation the buyers would double their investment in little time.

That coin made me very briefly famous in September of 1989!

Just curious? Did you find it in a Walmart parking lot? :D

The 1989P-less quarter I found in circulation and the 1989P quarter with rotated reverse my wife found in circulation too after seeing the articles in CW. They were out there.

I have a 1990 quarter with no mintmark, grease-filled die.
