$5 Indian Date Set

Alright! I picked up the last coin to finish my 1908-1916 date run.

Funny story, I bought this 1910 $5 back around the beginning of the pandemic. I tried to assemble a date set back then but couldnt find the right coins and gave up. I traded it in towards something else.

Fast forward and here I am putting the date set together again. I asked the dealer I sold it to if there was any way to get it back. Needless to say, here it is!

Its a great crusty original coin. Really adds some character to my collection.

So now I have 1908-1916. I am pretty happy with the set. What's next? I could maybe see upgrading 1 or 2 of these. And maybe eventually I will come across the right 1929, but it's not high on the priority list. I think I'm going to enjoy bringing these out to look at once in a while, and shift focus to my type set.
