Sincona auction fun

Did anyone participate in the recently closed Sincona auction? I bid on 3 and won 1. Very excited to see it in hand once it arrives!

I viewed in person and I bid on that coin. A touch of friction on the high points, but IMHO the great color, luster and surfaces are more than enough to carry it into the assigned grade. Definitely a keeper. Congrats!

@MrEureka I’m glad to hear it, thanks. I thought the strike was very nice compared to the usual weakness seen on almost all of the 1e and 2e examples that have come up for sale.

@rwyarmch That is very attractive! I haven’t seen one like that that before.

This auction had many types that I’d never seen before, particularly in the Kian collection.

I won 21 of 61 I was looking at, prices seemed cheaper than usual
