I like the look of the set-up here better than at the Hotel in Bedford by the mall. looks as though there is more room and better lighting at the "new" venue.

I read in Gerry Fortin’s blog that retail was VERY quiet. Additionally, he said he heard the same for the IMEX Nashville show.

A day without fine wine and working on your coin collection is like a day without sunshine!!!

Darn, I was hoping for news from the Manchester Derby.

    Go United!

Q: When does a collector become a numismatist?

A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.

A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.

Gerry’s post today changed the tune from yesterday. Good to hear.

“As the lead headline indicates, GFRC enjoyed a surprisingly strong retail sales on Saturday at the Manchester NH show. The day started with low expectations but the momentum quickly shifted as a $6000 Liberty Seated dime sale was made just after the show opened.”

Nothing is as expensive as free money.
