Are there any ballplayers that love kitties? Or cards that featured/mentioned a cat lover player?

As some of you no doubt know, my late wife introduced me to cats in 2010 and I've been a wannabe "crazy cat lady" ever since...I have to say wannabe because my meant apt only lets me have one :,( So I've been taking the time to look over my card sets and sometimes they mention if the player has wife and/or kids, and there have been occasions like the Milk-Bone card set from the early 90s that feature players with their dogs. So I was just wondering if there are any ballplayers (past or present) that were cat lovers (ailurophiles) or even better, if there any cards that pictured players with their cats or even one of those cute cartoons from those old-time Topps sets that show the player loves kitties.

    I enjoy jigsaw puzzles myself but I have to work on them at my grandma's because a certain little someone will bat at the pieces if I try to do it at my apt!!

    A bit OT, but I just noticed that only one MLB team, the Tigers, are named after the cat family.

    While in the NFL, there are four, the Panthers, Lions, Jaguars, and Bengals.

    You could go to an animal shelter and volunteer. That might make your day and will also help out your local community animal shelter as I am sure they could use and love the help.

    Same color as Simon's Cat! And the Fancy Feast cat! I don't suppose like Simon's Cat, does your cat point as his mouth or dish whenever he wants food? :blush:
