https://www.collectors.com/coins Always Gives "Application Error"

The title says it.

This happened periodically in the past, but it has been this way for weeks now, on both of my computers.

Does anyone know what's up? I found it a useful tool for hunting for specific coins.

Thanks.

Mark

    Yeah, here too
I guess they have given up on helping us find coins!
That's what I get when I click on the "Find Coins" tab

Check out the new Greysheet Marketplace.
    https://www.greysheet.com/marketplace

We are helping CDN Exchange dealers list fresh material here at no charge and no-middleman fees to give everyone an easy way to locate items they need. Also, we are almost done with our eBay integration to get dealer's eBay listings included as well. This is a little more complicated because we hav to match listings to our catalog index (and PCGS #, etc) but we're almost done with it.

The ability to view all available coins in one place would be ideal.

I don't think any website has really made this work very well, yet.

GS seems like it should be well positioned to get inventory inputs from dealer members. Good luck.

It's a nice idea; not yet as complete as collectors.com was, but I'll take it.

Well, except that the search function doesn't work. I put in "1926-D Mercury," and I get three dimes, none of which is a 1926-D Mercury dime, and only two of which are Mercury dimes. It would be nice if there were a way to sort series by date, but can't find it if there is one.

I can usually get it to work, but rarely on the first try. I end up trying about 3 workarounds before I get it to work. I can’t even describe my workarounds, they end up being different each time. But one is going through a different route than the app I normally use.

I think we can address this search issue. In the meantime, "1926-d 10c" works well.

Sweet! I'm liking this so far, it looks like a nice streamlined marketplace with all the necessary filter options, looking forward to seeing this grow. One thing, im having some issues loading pictures with certain listings. Example-

I just tried it and it seems that there is a problem with finding Liberty Seated coins. I tried a filted search of Liberty Seated Dimes, PCGS, and in the series it only shows proof coins. Same with quarters

    Just did another search
    I used these filters:
    US Coins
    PCGS
    CAC
And although it says that GC is a sponsor none of their coins came up in the search
Seems like they have a lot of things to work out, but it's a start

personally, Collector Corner is still my go to place to search ... In my specific category, the Marketplace site only has 39 pieces listed and Collector Corner has 248 and they include all of the 39 from the Marketplace. Great Collections,Stacks, heritage, Legends (and others) also use this site to list auction pieces, I wish more dealers would list on Collector corner ... In fact I had made 3 or 4 new dealer contacts from that site and had acquired several pieces from them. and in some cases even before they listed coins for public sale.
maybe this is the site you are thinking of?

GC hasn't starting listing yet. We're still in a "live beta" while we perfect the system. The feedback is great in the meantime. We're already working on the search fix mentioned by @124Spider .
