Downloading Trueviews.

in PCGS Set Registry Forum

Recent reconsideration submissions to our host mainly to get my coins Trueviewed. Received them back today. Can't figure out how to get my Trueviews entered. I tried entering another lesser grade then back to my desired coin. No Trueview. Tried the upload on the far right where the image normally appears. It says " drag and drop your file here " OR " select it from your computer " Best of my knowledge, I don't have a file or the images on my computer. HELP PLEASE.

    Maybe you could try going to www.pcgs.com/cert/nnnnnnnn where the last eight are the cert #s. If there is a Trueview ready, it should show up and you can click Save As and download those to your computer. Having said that, I hear that Trueview are showing up quite a bit later than the actual photography thereof. It may pay to keep checking the cert #s. Good luck!

    When you received the coins back PCGS Photo didn't email you a link saying the images are ready to download?

    No. I just got off the phone with Registry ( their customer service is outstanding ) Photo dept. is running behind in getting the True Views into their database. I was told if the pictures are not up by Monday to call customer service dept. If the pictures come up on cert. verification but not in my registry set, then I'm to call her back. My submission was to get all my registry set True viewed.

    How do you get both side of true view download? I can only get one side or both side in one. I also want both side in two photos. I don’t see both side in two photos.

    I do not think you need to do anything unless the cert number changed.

    See giorgio11 post above ... you will get both Obv. and rev images as separate images as well as a PNG image that will be without any back ground .

    @retirednow, sorry, am I missing something here? I only sees OBV and both OBV, REV in one photo. I want OBV in one photo and REV in another photo. So basically I want three photos, OBV, REV and both OBV and Rev in one photo. Now I can only get two photos OBV and OBV, Rev in one photo. I did not get Rev in one photo. Thanks a lot for your help.

    @retirednow that is a great tip! I didn't know that the images were cataloged like that (e.g. Max Obverse and Max Reverse separately). Very handy thing to learn - much appreciated.
