Looks like wear in the cheek. Probably an AU.

Nice 1943 cent but not worth spending $60.00 or more to have graded.
Unless a coin is worth more than about $200.00, it is not worth the price
of grading.

From the photo it looks like it is an AU that has been cleaned. Very little value. Not worth slabbing.

Not worth slabbing. You can get an already slabbed MS66 esample for under the cost

For lower value coins I would suggest using ANACS when they have a ten coin $120 special. For more expensive coins ( $150-200+) PCGS is a better choice IMHO.

That is pretty much my rule of thumb as well, though I will occasionally break it for economy dark side submissions if they are high end low mintage dates.
