Last I heard coins don’t qualify under new international shipping.

Were do you find a list of prohibited items? I would think they could mostly anything to Canada.

Use parcelsapp.com to track.
And it takes a little time, so patience

After they stopped the “global shipping program” and opted me into the new and improved international shipping I had someone from Peru try and buy some tokens. He could not pay for his items even though I offered international shipping. I called eBay customer support and they are the ones that told me coins and paper money were prohibited. I looked it up at the time and found them. Not sure where I found it. Was a couple months ago.

Does anyone know the average length of time packages stay in Illinois before been sent to Canada? Going on day 6 with no updates on my package.

Are they (ebay) suppose to add a new tracking number once it leaves that hub so I can track it once it enters Canada? I know when the hub was in Kentucky they would update with a new tracking number but I have no idea with Illinois.

I guess I found my answer:
eBay's International Shipping hub in Illinois continues to experience long delays for inspection and processing, with some buyers and sellers reporting no movement on tracking for 2 - 3 weeks.

They will show a change in tracking number before ebay does. I wasn't suggesting they have more information on your particular package. The problem here is partly patience. International shipping with any service can take time. You have two different customs groups or must go through. It can take a long as 6 weeks to some countries [not usually Canada]

Funny one of my 3 orders arrived at the hub yesterday and has already left while the one that arrived on August 21st has no updates. I have one package on its way there to the hub.

I know I am fully covered by Ebay but would rather receive all 3 packages and have none lost or stolen.

But are you covered?
The prohibited list says: Coins & Stamps and Paper Money are prohibited
and since this is The US Coin Forum,,,,,,
I don't know? Just asking>
If the client puts in too long of an address, ebay shipping labels will not print it nor allow modifications.
Ebay cares less about this issue and can cause huge problems for the seller.
eBay has the worst customer service anywhere on earth.
Expect a possible negative from the foreign buyer and ebay makes you spend hours of time jumping thru hoops to even think about have said neg reversed. Ebay software made it impossible to ship and customer service is more than worthless at the bay.
Will see what happens.

As a buyer I am responsible if the seller uses this shipping method he is the one that should be aware no?

!!!
Smitten with DBLCs.
Just contacted an ebay supervisor and I will be fully refunded if the package was lost, stolen or seized (on the restricted list). I hope they find a way to have sellers know because it is not OK for us buyers or sellers. Ebay issues the full refund not the seller I was told.

Ebay sure can be difficult and a pain.

Still no new updates on this package sucks!!!

You can usually make modifications to the address. They just warn you that major changes void your seller guarantee.
I must be getting old. I remember a time when you raved about ebay. I guess I'm the last eBayphile left.
I can't help loving them. They've made it possible for me to be a market maker in error coins.

Well the package has now been updates on its way to me. I am happy rather have the collectible than a refund.
