Costco has gold bars for sale

FYI...I just noticed an advertisement for a Rand gold bar on Costcos home page.
Seems to be a good deal if you have the Costco Citi CC and executive
membership for a total of 4% money back. At $1,959.99 minus the 4%
would work out to $1,881.59...not too shabby!

The site also shows a Pamp bar, but the page says "product not found" when clicked on.

Gold bars, particularly sealed with an assay card, are notoriously counterfeited out of China. For this reason alone, I avoid them, and so do most other buyers when it becomes time to resell.

I agree! I personally don't have any gold bars in an assay, but have a few silver pamps.

Turns out the offer was short lived as now the products aren't accessible on Costcos site any longer.

I sure wouldn't mind if they sold some AGE's or Gold Buffalo's at those prices!

Bars still available for me but it only allows a limit of 2 per member. I am still buying the metal of kings but as mentioned above I also steer clear of all bars sealed with assay cards. I would expect that Costco is buying from a source that no doubt is selling authentic product and I would be 100% confident that Costco would 100% stand behind the authenticity. It is a good deal if you have the Costco Visa and an Executive Membership. I also agree bring on the AGE's, I'll certainly buy if the premiums are right. THKS!

The whole worlds off its rocker, buy Gold™.

Silver to gold ratio is screaming to buy silver not gold. Sucessfully profiting from silver volatility dictates paying close attention to what the SGR tells us

Weird...but I guess if you're a desperate Communist, you could, and would, try to duplicate anything that you think "smells" of Capitalism. Sad but true.

They may have been speculating on their own land, but now San Francisco is completely run by Chinese corporations who are masked as USA companies for tax incentives, among other corruption.
