An Ex- @Zohar piece! Salzburg Taler in NGC 64. Excited to see in hand.
Here's Z's description from his amazing TalerUniverse site:
1622. Austria. Salzburg. Paris of Lodron (1619-1653) Taler. DAV-3497. KM-61. At first glance, this specimen displays evenly-toned cabinet patination; however, upon rotation the surfaces completely transform with iridescent hues of turquoise, copper, and gold that reside within the protected areas and illuminate the boldly-struck design features. An altogether captivating example that delivers exceptional visual allure, as well as a near-Gem technical quality. Scarce in all regards. NGC MS-64.
Spirited bidding ! Bought these two double talers for my set. Heritage description verbiage.
Austria. ND. Archduke Ferdinand Charles, Archduke of Further Austria (1646-1662) Double Taler. Hall Mint. DAV-3364; KM-985. Hahn 9. M/T- 511. The sole finest graded example of the type in the NGC census, this impressive survivor presents a gunmetal gray tone with deeper hues accentuating the devices, all with a good deal of shimmering brilliance radiating in the fields. NGC MS-63+.
1609 Austria. Alsace region. Ensisheim Mint. Rudolph II (1576-1612) 2 Taler. DAV-3031; M/T-585. KM-248. A RARE and desirable type, especially in such an elevated state of preservation, this double-sized crown presents deep gunmetal gray toning and stands as the sole specimen of the type in the NGC census. NGC MS-62.

After failing to win this coin at last summer's showcase auction I was given a second chance.

My current "Box of 20"
I won this Hadrian aureus at Heritage yesterday. I will post a Netherlands ducat at the "hammered" thread.

I underbid one of the Victoria/EIC mohurs. Tough competition.
Enjoy @Bob13 !
