Eisenhower Dollar Appreciation Post/NEWP

Let’s see some Eisenhower dollars. A few weeks ago it dawned on me that I didn’t have any silver Ike Dollars in my collection and have never owned one. I picked this one up the other day. Even though it’s an very common coin and not that valuable I’m still happy to have it.

I’m a huge fan but only collect silver dollars that are MS (mostly) and don’t have the proof silvers, so here they are:
And FYI the 71 was a coin my dad gave me … I had it graded but the others I purchased graded. He also left me the commemorative proof!

He was born in 1935 (d. 2019) and loved this man!

I really like the big Ike design and eagle on the moon reverse even though many do not like the series. Especially love the DCAM examples!

Ikes are a great series to collect and highly completable in upper grades. One of my favorite coins since they were in circulation when I was a kid!

My daily pocket piece. Been carrying it for a little less than a year. It's a red envelope mint set coin, I cut it out of it's original cello.
Yes, what are you saying?

My wife who doesn't collect coins or know anything about them except that I collect was all excited when a customer at her work spent these. She immediately snapped a pic and sent it to me. I now have 3 pocket peices and my wife wanted one. She chose the 71.
