I had a steel cent that turned in the slab (NGC in this case) for no particular reason. Not quite as bad as the one shown, but an MS67 coin that's now worth probably $ 10.

Looks like a reprocessed coin that slipped through.

I think its a re-processed coin that got by the graders....I had a 1943 P-D-S set that had the same thing happen to it.....Mad Marty traded me some Cook Island fertility dollars for them.....I took them! I never knew what he did with them......
