Help me date this large copper cent

Picked this up for 50 cents and was hoping one of the advanced collectors here could help me date it.

You said help you- do you have a guess?

Reverse resembles an 1804 but obverse is off; I would guess an 1803 without running through my books!

I can't see anything that resembles a date, but I don't have a loupe handy.

    Have you tried flowers?

I would agree with the above. Probably 1803. The position of the T in Liberty over the start of the hair as well as the position of the T in Cent over the tip of the leaf narrows it down quite a bit.

1796-1807. Give it to a kid on Halloween. Just hope that he is a coin collector otherwise you may get your house egged.

Maybe you should ask her parents first.
