I would imagine Customer List isn’t as big a deal as consignor list. They have the chance to talk to them and make a pitch to use REA now that their auction house of choice is no more.
Huggins has a different style of auction. Probably allows them to better align consignments. The pallet of crap that is left over that REA doesn't want to put in their auction would get shifted to Huggins I would think. And super high profile items would get shifted to REA. Would allow them to cover the whole spectrum and maximize where consignments are directed too. but who knows, that;s just speculation on my part

Saw this. Like REA so consider this good news.
REA may be my favorite auction house, because they run good auctions.
What exactly is REA getting form this? Huggins just shuts downs or combines? Are there any assets acquired by REA?
Customer lists I think would be the main asset.
yeah probably, but with so few big time auction houses, I'm not sure that means a ton.
