    Just for comparison, my metro area bullion dealer with website listing their prices is currently right around +7% for a single AGE.

    bullionexchanges.com is typically the lowest, I have done a lot of happy business with them. Pay wire xfer or ACH/echeck for best prices. Check their Sale page.

    A large dealer near us is advertising AGE and Buffalos for roughly 5.25% over spot.

    Not normal at all. Normal times +3% for the "good" stuff, spot to spot -5% for the "liquid" stuff, spot - 10%+ for the "fantasy" 3rd party junk. Be patient, deals always come around, RGDS!

    deals are measured using current price, not some good old days "normal" price. LOL

    Look at their wholesale page. The premiums they are willing to pay are down substantially from just a couple months ago. They are selling gold eagles wholesale for only +3% so don't bury yourself at +10%

    Good advice. There’s more for sale than you can imagine so there’s no need to make hasty purchases. Shop around.

    I haven't bought in a while, but my LCS is usually about 3-4% over spot.
