US Philippines coins: should they be submitted as World or US coinage?

I am putting together a submission to PCGS and need advice on whether a 1944-S Philippines fifty centavos is supposed to be submitted on a world coin or US coin form. Does anybody have any experience here? FWIW, the coin is included in the listings for US coins in the Pop Report.
I would appreciate any help.

My Philippine submissions 1902-1945 have been submitted as world coins- not sure that is correct or if it makes a difference.

Submit as US coinage, i have done this many times

I have thrown them in with US submissions with no problem. 1883 Hawaii coins as well.
Whichever one is cheaper.
Didn’t the mint make coins for several foreign countries in the past?
I'd go with US as US-PI coins are listed under US coins in the pop report.
More than several. I have a relevant set that is very close to completion - should have it done before the end of summer and I'll make a post about it.

Do you know if PCGS has a Set Registry for these?

Mine is a heavily pared down custom set (non-registry) focusing only on pre-WW2 crowns. Enough variety to be interesting but not some insane lifelong project.

Yes, but that is different than making coins for a US colony or commonwealth.

IMHO, the situation is still a little ambiguous.
While it is listed under "territorial" on the U.S. 'pop report', there is not a corresponding entry on the U.S. 'price guide'.

Regardless, based on the responses here, it appears that PCGS will accept either submission type for these (i.e., U.S., or World).
