    Nice to see someone with a Dom D. auto. Overshadowed by his brother for sure I would guess?

    IMO, he was a hell of a good ball player - served in WWII which shortened his career a bit - he has a lifetime BA of .298 and 1680 hits in 10 yrs of real play.

    Willie was saying FU.. I was the best & you got him last & didn't save him room. Lol
    Truthfully I would have gotten Mick to sign on an angle like Duke, then Willie would of had ample room.
    But that's Willie.
    As everybody knows he could be quite temperamental.

    Duke was the last to sign - that's why he pissed me off Curt. Otherwise? I agree.

    Not to pile on Mays.

    However, I took my 9 yr old to the National in Atlanta and he wanted Mays. I wanted Bench. Mays NEVER looked up from the table or address a child giving him a ball to sign. I believe I'm a fair and generous person. But. You know.

    My friend's father got these autographs on the back of his Little League ID card in about 1950. (The card was subsequently covered with a do-it-yourself adhesive lamination, but thankfully due to its age it peels right back with no damage to the card).

    A nice example of an in-person memento, from Red Sox players Johnny Pesky and Joe Dobson.

    Here's my fave. Finished it off at Disney World at a character breakfast in Animal Kingdom. Got a big thumbs up from Mickey when he signed it.
