Finally finished my Mt. Rushmore of Football

Just landed this Broadway Joe rookie card. Completes my M. Rushmore of football. An extremely difficult card to find with decent centering. I think this one presents very well for the grade.

    Interesting seeing the 2 and 2.5 together as a comparison, because the Namath looks much better than a 2 from the front. How's the back?

    A little bit of scuffing/paper loss is all I can see wrong with the back. I do not have the card in hand as I am out town. Very harsh grade in my opinion. According to the seller no wrinkles or pinholes.

    Exceptional centering w/o tilt on the Namath RC…very difficult to avoid that show stopper. Congrats on the Mount Rushmore of football…impressive group of cards!

    Are you going to get the Namath put into a PSA holder to have them all the same?

    Incredible pickup on the Namath.

    Would the 81 Montana or 86 Rice fit in over Johnny U? Or Maybe the 75 Payton?

    I think that those are the Mr Rushmore of all football cards not just yours. Very very nice

    Just wow on the Namath! I clearly have lost all touch with grading in the last 3 or 4 years. They all look under graded!

    Love the cards and the choices.

    Thanks Monte. I would have landed one these a long time ago if not for the centering/tilt issues.

    I just followed the Mt. Rushmore from the registry set. Certainly a case could be made for the above mentioned.

    I will most likely at some point crack it out and send it in to PSA. No hurry but I do like to having them all the same.

    if you do that, you may want to consider re-holdering all of the rest, so that they are all in the same "lighthouse" holders.

    Yep! PSA has several for sports and non-sports. Here are the ones I follow. Hope to knock off the basketball next. Baseball most likely will never happen and the hockey may happen some day way down the road.
