GOTHIC SILVER PATTERN PROOF 25 Ecu FULL SIZE CROWN – Victorian Portrait 1993 Pattern Silver Proof 25 Ecu – Full-sized (38mm) Silver Crown – These date from when Patterns were being prepared and offered as prospective designs in the early 90’s, when it was widely believe the European Currency would be the ECU. The ECU never came to be and the Euro was adopted, nevertheless just 100 of these Presentation Proof Examples were minted at London Mint.
