odd light weight cent

At the risk of being another one of 'those guys' with all responses being PMD, damaged, learn the minting process, send it in, etc., I have an odd cent I would like comments on. 1970 P substantially lighter and thinner with slightly smaller diameter. As they say, photos, so here they are. I don't know if this is just a thin planchet, on a foriegn blank, any added value. I have seen similar off planchet at shows but with little interest I have never looked at prices being asked.

    This is why I love this forum!

    I've seen Buffalo Nickels where the entire coin got treated with Nic-a-date (acid)... would those coins show similar characteristics to this treated copper cent? ie. Smaller diameter, lighter, in addition to being obviously "etched"...
