When putting a card in one. Is it better to use a sleeve or just the card?

    I usually use the Ultra Pro One Touch brand which is designed to hold just the card. However, there are other brands that have room to hold a card within a penny sleeve.

    I just go with the card. however, there is a brand, cant remember the name, that includes a penny sleeve that is perfectly fit for the window. I have used these on modern cards where surface damage can be an issue

    George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

    I just put in the card, but if it is chrome or prizm card I will a card sleeve over the top to protect the surface.
