New to coin collecting found this awhile back at a old dumpsite. Looks altered to me but thought I would post to see what experienced coin collectors thought.

I was gonna say, either plating issue or super scuzzy. My VDB is faint and squished against like the collar tilt or something. So how do you tell it's fake?? I didn't know this was an issue... Sheesh. Is mine???

You don't need to worry about a fake VDB only a fake S VDB.
