Questionable Athenian Owl

There is a seller that listed this owl for sale on eBay, his other coins mainly late roman bronze. What are you thoughts? The patina and the owl style is my main concern.

@bronzemat Yeah thats what I thought, I asked the seller where did he get it and he said his grandfather on mother’s side gave to him this alongside some other coins, if true thats a bummer for him specially because it seems like his grandfather died already. I asked for pictures of the edges and he sent to me and it was even more clear, big casting line.

Most likely a recent cast fake, and a fanciful story.

Perhaps he received it from his grandmother, but it's a fake and "feels" like a modern fake.
