I think since they won't ship until this year the QEII/Charles UK coins are gonna count as my first 2023 purchases? lol
Will be sure to share once they show up early-to-mid Feb.
Also saw the Monnaie de Paris is coming out with a Libertas Americana homage May 16. Pretty excited about that.
Anyone else seeing things their excited about queued up on the Dake Side for this year?

These bawbees or sixpence from Scotland are quite difficult to find this nice, the silver coinage didn't circulate after 1707 but bronze soldiered on for another 70-80 years until regal coinage from London finally took over.
Not sure if this my last purchases of 2022 or first of 2023.

While I wait for my coin to arrive figured I would post this my young niece (with my brothers help) got me for Christmas. First gift I have ever gotten from her since she usually made some type of crafts so this one I will cherish for a long long time. It is now displayed in my computer room at home.
End of year 2022 acquisition. Mexico 1773 4 Reales with inverted mint mark and assayer plus counterstamped with head of King George III by Bank of England making it a Half Dollar. A most interesting find.
Latin American Collection
Normally I like old US coins or gold/platinum sets but I was blown away when I saw this video recently and just had to order one. Just received my Milestones of Mankind Egyptian Labyrinth coin yesterday. I'm just amazed at the technology, I don't think anyone will be trying to counterfeit this anytime soon.

Nice find! 1802 FT/M is tough to find in AU or better. Great to have another varieties collector join the discussion. Are you participating in the registry?
