Not worth it, It is a little cool though.
It's acid-washed. Something really smoking, like HCL or H2SO4, most likely.

You should spend some effort improving your photography skills. Notice how the pillars of the memorial are in focus on the 2nd image, but NOTHING is in focus in the first? Not even the background! I'm guessing that you are using a cell phone and hand-holding it. Try bracing against a stack of books or something like that.
