50th Anniversary of 1973
Wacky Packages were RED hot and outsold Baseball or so I've read.
Topps presented a boatload of in game action Baseball shots, many in landscape, even if they were taken at ISO 100...
Kellogg's issued a set in their cereal boxes not in "3D" I believe for the first time.
Due to a dispute, The 1973 Football set contained Topps' last Joe Namath card issued during his playing career.
Hoping to see a bunch of Non-Sports, Football, basketball, Hockey and non-Hall of Famer Baseball cards.

One of my favorite cards of all time is from the 1973 Topps football set. When I was 6, in 1979, an older cousin gave me his shoebox of cards that he was no longer interested in. It was all 1972-73 football from my memory. The first one that stood out was the 1973 Broadway Joe. This isn't the original, that one is long gone, but this is my replacement.
The '73 baseball design has grown on me more than any other over the years.

Bench has some of the best cards ever - ‘69, ‘73 and the ‘76. Cannot pick my favorite. That ‘73 is an unbelievable card.

Great watermark placement
1973 might be my favorite year of all during the 70s. The baseball set is weird, and the photos are just out-there and crazy. I love this set because it's so weird and wacky. The football has some great photography too, but not the weirdness of the baseball.
