snipe software ?

I use a snipe program that gives me the option of activating my bid within 5 ,4 ,3, 2, or 1 second. I'm bidding on a few cards and have put my settings at 4 seconds. If I go lower to 3 or 2 seconds, am I gaining anything, or just running the risk of my bid not getting applied timely?

    I dont think the extra seconds do anything for you. I would think at 5 seconds you are up against only other snipes and it will be determined by max bids.
    I used to snip but all the ones charge. Just snip is $5 and I have one ebay account on it.
