Will NGC accept submissions sent by USPS Priority Insured Mail or only by Registered Mail?

    Yes, I send my submissions to NGC via USPS Priority Signature. No insurance because I self insure.

    Probably but I was on this site and if you knew the answer wouldn't have been just as easy to answer the question than to flame my post. People seem to look for something to complain about than be helpful now days. So sad!

    I'm sorry you're saddened. It just struck me as inappropriate to ask your question on PCGS's property. Then again, I'm old fashioned that way.

    And under the circumstances, the question “Wouldn't that be a question for NGC?” seemed reasonable and like other than a “flame”.

    Yes, I always send my submissions to them USPS Priority. Never had an issue.

    However, I also agree that this is a question to put over at the NGC forums. You'd get the same answer in the same amount of time without ruffling feathers.

    This forum is the number one source for expert advice on coins anywhere.

    NGC should be sad the question is asked here. PCGS should be happy with the extra traffic and the fact the people come here first.

    Thank You--I appreciate your answer. I'll probably continue to post and ask questions as this is a neat forum and I just noticed it a few months ago. Lots of friendly people here too but I'll be especially careful not to mention XYZ company in further posts even though collectors and dealers often submit to more than one company. Some think one company grades stricter on some denominations etc. etc. Since this was a pretty active forum I knew someone would know the answer and didn't think it would ruffle the feathers of someone. I wasn't promoting XYZ or demeaning PCGS just had a curious question and asked away.

    My feathers are quite unruffled for those who care. The challenge was one of etiquette not whether someone here could answer the question or whether there is high readership here.

    Yet they say everyone has an opinion just like another physical feature, and so I offered one. That evidently ruffled the OP.
