I've had rib injuries, I know how painful they are, the guy showed unbelievable guts and heart last night, I take my hat off to him. He's one tough son of a gun.

Injury bug has bitten the Chargers again. K. Allen, 2 OL and Herbert banged up. For years they lost games because of kicking. Last night they found new ways.

Just adding those injuries to the offensive line was the difference in the second half. Chargers defense can’t catch and offense can’t stay healthy. Mahomes is certainly living right as there were at least 8 balls that could’ve been game changers.

Like I said, I've suffered rib injuries twice, and I know how painful it is. It hurts when you breathe, eat, cough, sneeze, it hurts just to move. Here is the hit that caused the injury, it appears his rib area came down hard on on the helmet of the defender.
What is his status? Is he going to.miss time?
The x-rays came back negative, I guess that means no breaks in the bone? But he still did some damage, possibly to the cartilage, which is extremely painful. I think the Chargers have a bye week, so that would help a bit.

I think they are calling it abdominal now rather than rib. I"m assuming he will be good to go. Probably just sore.
My mistake, I think the Chargers do have a game next week, anyway here is the word from Ian Rapoport on the latest.
