Went camping last week.
The kids recived some good do's and don'ts just by watching dad (me).
We wen't into the woods for firewood. My son steps into a mud covered dry creek bed with his only tennis shoes. Did I say mud covered.
I found a good size limb on the ground which needed to be down sized for the fire pit. Bow saw was not packed so as a caveman I placed
the long limb (20 foot long or so) between two limbs of a standing tree. The first break was very easy as the wood was like driftwood.
Second break also went as planned. The kids stood there astounded. Suddenly, all hell broke loose. The standing tree supported a softball size bee hive 8 ft above me with some attacking angry bees. The kids got a good laugh at my reaction. Only 3 got me.

The origin of the phrase "piss poor"
Back when urine was used to tan animal skins, families would all
pee into a pot. When full, they sold the contents to the local
tannery.
If your family had to do this to survive, you were "piss poor."
Worse, if you couldn't even afford to buy the pot, you were so
poor you "didn't even have a pot to piss in."
Now that's poor
