My brother in law received his order for two today. Now I have a frame of reference for all possible quantities. Here is the range of expected weights:
One Eagle - .45 pounds
Two Eagles - .60 pounds
Three Eagles - .75 pounds
By the process of elimination, the Eagle sets must weigh .15# each and the exterior packaging and dunnage around .30#.
Not sure why the sealed box for the set of three on ebay weighs 1.15# unless the buyer was over-shipped.
Oh, and they've done nothing to deter the flippers - they just enhanced their website during peak sales!
I don't want to get political but I sorta feel like some politician is telling me there is no inflation or recession when all of the technical indicators that ever indicated such, is clearly right there! I gotta admit, she has a future in politics!
The 2 I ordered came in yesterday. Opened it up after I got home from work this morning. One had a hair on the inside of the capsule. Luckily it wasn't touching the coin and I removed it.
Throw a coin enough times, and suppose one day it lands on its edge.

I got 7 ( 2 boxes of 3 & 1 box of 1). Still haven't opened the 3 boxes yet. I will open the the single this week, but keep the other 2 boxes sealed and try to sell them. I just love the way the proofs look.

My 3 arrived at the PO box on Monday, but I left for the ANA/Chicago at 4am Monday. So will have to go flip the box to PCGS at the post office tomorrow. Was expecting some to be available at the Mint display at the show, but they shipped them the 2022-W proofs instead. Although I already have 15 of those still at PCGS, I grabbed another 5 to get the show label on them.

Yep, rather than return my messed up 25 subscription order to the Mint, I sold mine to Pinehurst. Less hassle and the credit card points made it worthwhile.

All 3 of mine had very minor issues unfortunately. I don't think they'd quite make ms70, at least with our host. 😕

These are tough to photograph. The coin looks outstanding and has quite a flawless mirror field. Glad it has a capsule to protect it.
