OT- Member Death Announcement

I have not been active on this forum for quite some time and neither has the subject of this post, but for those who have been here for a while, particularly German coin collectors, I'll share the following:

Member 3Mark, aka Larry Gray, passed away last Friday after a year-long battle with cancer. Larry was a long time collector who was recognized numerous times for his outstanding PCGS Registry sets. He was also my good friend, and I'll miss him. -Preussen

"Illegitimis non carborundum" -General Joseph Stilwell. See my auctions

This is sad news. Larry was one of the first to reach out a hand to me when I first joined the forum. He was deeply knowledgable about German States, and equally as passionate. I remember being in awe at his network of collectors and dealers. I have over a decade of messages from Larry offering thoughts, reactions, encouragement, and advice. Rest in peace, 3Mark.

Oh this is very sad news. He was always very nice to me when I first started collecting world coins. My condolences to his family and close friends. After a lengthy fight with cancer, I think the important to remember that he’s no longer in pain.

    RIP Larry.
