Ventris C. Gibson has been nominated to be Director of the Mint for a term of five years. The nomination was received in the Senate on January 7, and referred to the Committee on Banking, Housing, and Urban Affairs.

I looked for some quotes from her on coins and the only one I found so far is for the Negro Leagues Baseball Commemoratives:
