    Could you imagine a Gordie Howe career card with stats from NHL and WHL? Or if golfers had year by year stats like that. Would have to be a foldout or you would probably need a microscope to read it.

    Agreed on Gordie!

    Another great example would be Stanley Matthews, top tier professional from 1932-1965.

    This one from 1975 is pretty decent too, though it doesn't go all the way through the end of his career a few years later. However, I don't believe any of his cards from 1976-1979 present many lines of stats. Despite this one showing career stats prior to retirement, the years that are on there still make for an impressive show:

    Same goes for Gordie Howe as my post for Bobby Hull above. This one from 1975 OPC WHA does not capture his stats through retirement, but it does get the majority. I think this one is tough to beat:

    What would be the best examples of a card of a player who played say 25+ years and they had to really squeeeeeze all those lines of stats in teeny little print?

    And I don't know if this really counts but I thought it was neat that the back of 77's was done like a billboard.

    There are a lot of impressive stat-back cards (especially the 1976 Topps/OPC All-Time All-Stars). I had to google it, but for those who haven't yet, the longest professional sports careers (but with no cards showing all their stats) are:

    Gary Player, golf, 56 years, 1953-2009
    WG Grace, cricket, 43 years, 1865-1908
    Gordie Howe, hockey, 33 years, 1946-1980 (took a 2-yr break 1971-1973)

    There are other golfers who had more professional years than Grace or Howe (for example, Sam Snead at 49 years, et.al.). This short list here shows the first 3 names on the list of longest pro career per each respective sport.
