Circulated $500 and $1000 bills

Can someone provide approximate values for circulated $500 and $1000 bills? The $1000s have minor staple holes. Thanks.

If you’re a buyer, could you be more specific please, like series and district. If you’re a seller, please provide a scan or photo of the front and back.

Here's photos of the notes including the $1000 with pin holes.

Thanks for the images. Both denominations are popular and demand a premium regardless of condition. Judging by the soft corners and soiling, the two $1,000 notes look to be in VF condition and worth anywhere from $2,000 to $2,500. The $500 looks a bit nicer, maybe an XF and in my opinion worth from $1,000 to $1,200.

    Thanks for your feedback!

One last question came to mind - are these worth grading? Thanks.

Everyone has an opinion on grading. Mine is, if you’re selling them, yes. It gives potential buyers confidence in what they’re getting. If you’re not selling them, keep them in quality currency sleeves. Some will have a different view…

might be worth it grading the $500. Don't think so on the $1000 as they are low grade/problem notes.
