I have heard stories of impropriety at both CAC and PCGS. Some more believable than others. None of it is Verifiable. Unethical folks can enter any part of society and do. I think these companies by and large operate honestly.

I’m sure this thread will go poof soon enough but the removing of stickers reminded me that there are people out there that remove cac stickers and put them on other coins. A heat gun, sharp razor knife and a steady hand and it can be done. I wonder how many buyers take the time to run cert numbers through CAC’s website to check?
