How things have changed!
As we begin a new year, let's look back 100 years:
Average life expectancy for men was 47 years.
Fuel for automobiles was sold only in drug stores.
Only 14% of homes had a bathtub, and only 8% had a telephone.
The maximum speed limit in most cities was just 10 mph.
The tallest structure in the world was the Eiffel Tower.
The average US wage was 22 cents per hour.
More than 95% of all births took place at home.
90% of doctors had no college education, instead they attended
"medical schools" generally condemned as substandard.
There wouldn't be any arguing about manditory masks with those. Forget the test
kits and just send me 5 lbs. of those masks. Everyone would definetly wear one if
some lettuce and tomato were required with the masks.

I'm not so sure about my inner child, but I definitely have an inner
idiot who surfaces every now and then
To me, "drink responsibly" means "don't spill it!"
It may be that 60 is the new 40, but 9pm is now the new midnight.
Likewise, the older I get, the earlier it gets late.
I finally got 8 hours of sleep. It took me 3 days, but I did it.
I hate to see a couple arguing in public... especially when I missed
the beginning and I don't know whose side to be on.
