Thanks that's nine. I have Lou Brock, Steve Carlton, Bob Gibson, Jim Palmer, Jim Hunter, Reggie Jackson, Willie McCovey, and Billy Williams. I'm doing Joe Morgan run now.

Yes I have the Cowboys ring of honor players. The ones from the 1960's through 1970s. I just need a few cards for Pearson and Meredith. I also have a Alworth run.

I like your style. Well done. Nice looking cards and not breaking the bank. A true collector. I have an extra '69 Morgan in PSA 7 if interested.

Great job! Player runs are fun to collect. Not only do they showcase a player's career, but also how card designs evolve over the years.

When he retired he was 4th on the all-time HR list - correct?

Frank does get lost in the shuffle. I do wonder if his time as an "executive" (NOT manager) diminished his legacy?

I've have only a graded 1975. While his entire career was before my time I did have a 75 obtained in a schoolyard trade as kid for what were then current cards.

Thanks yes I think he is a all-time great. I think he was 4th on HR list when he retired.

Nice work! I enjoy following your player sets. And I agree that he's generally undervalued for how great a hitter he was. I also see a bit of what could've been. Here's a player comparison (both players thru their first 11 seasons):

I hadn't either, until I stumbled on them by accident. I won a 67 Frank Robinson & a 65 Hank Aaron in the same auction last summer. When the cards arrived, I'm the nerd that reads the backs of cards. "Hey...that's cool. Both of these cards are after their 11th season...Wait a second... they were within 1 double & 7 home runs of each other?!!"

Then I looked at how close they actually were. Hank was the much better hitter (.320 avg and 200+ extra hits), and Frank had far more walks. I didn't do it at the time, but it would be cool to look at their stats from their 12th season on.

That's cool. Frank became a manager in 1975. He was still playing. I think that had something to do with his last two years as a player.
