I admit it. Yes, of course, I am attracted to pretty coins. Gem coins. Yet a part of me enjoys coins with a touch of the crazies. Malcontents. Coppers that didn't give up the fight. Commerce. Dreck, so to speak.
Am I alone?

Thought you were going with early copper dreck. Funny how dreck in some cases ends up as "beautiful slabbed example" with certain dealers.
Is the 6 cents coin real?
If you mean "US Mint made", absolutely not.
