    Back to the op's stated purpose, with all the criticism of pcgs (and I certainly have voiced some), it is worth commending them for maintaining their status as the premier grading service in the industry. So, thank you for that!

    Getting support crew that needs to work onsite could be difficult, considering they are in one of the most beautiful and expensive places in the world. I suspect some of their customer service calls are being handled remotely.

    Just noting for reference as far as turnaround times ...
    I sent in 4 orders back in mid-Oct 2021.
    3 Express coins came back by end-Oct 2021.
    41 Modern Value coins came back mid-Nov 2021.
    8 Regular service (Vouchers) came back early Jan.
    Still waiting on 14 Modern - in QA currently.

    I plan to send 2 Restoration-Modern coins (that I just got back, restoration recommended) as well as over 20 more Modern Value. I figure these will take 3 months-ish, so dont expect them til April or so. Should be a fine spring.

    Yeah, covid, supply chain, all that is contributing, I'm aware.

    I also frequent a guitar-builder's site, as that is another hobby of mine (coins have dominated my bank acct lately tho). They used to have 12-16 week turnarounds, and are up to 25-30+ weeks. ppl still complain there too.

    I have 2 coins in express currently. I am at 15 business days and one went through restoration and is at the "being imaged" QA stage, while the other is still in encapsulation.

    Did the restoration coin fully grade out yet? What stage is it exactly in?

    I just had my coin logged in by PCGS for restoration express service. Please advise

    Restoration coin got put in the mail on Monday, the other express coin is still in encapsulation...makes no sense to me.

    Yes, and more and more coins stacking up at the graders should drive up prices for all the other coins... TPGs helping hot things up!

    Well, after 3-1/2 weeks in QA, my grades finally popped. Thank you again, PCGS. I feel satiated.....for about 5 minutes!

    My express submission is currently at 20 days and still in encapsulation…frustrating.
