Is this 1928 S Mercury Dime an FS501 Large S variety?

    I thought the serifs on mine were akin to the Large S, but then thought it might just be from impact/wear.

    I agree this is most likely the small S variety. Been looking for a large S myself in AU or better!

    Looks like it is really small and large serif varieties.... size of mm is about the same. For a well-circulated coin, might be very hard to tell the difference.
