Can you tell me what a "mule die clash" is?
Definitely not a die clash
I assume it has Lincoln on one side and a shield on the other?
My understanding is when two plates not meant to be minted together minted leaves such a square marks as above. (I'm just learning from youtube and other coin communities about the coins).
Lincoln & Shield?
It has lincoln front side and shield reverse sideof the coin.
Then that’s not a mule
You take a Lincoln die on the front and … say … a dime die on the reverse, then that’s a mule
Oh, I see, thanks, than is there a correct name for this kind of square marked coin?
If it's a clash why isn't there more of the design showing other places?
Now for a die clash explanation
Take that Lincoln Die and that Shield die.
Don’t let a blank get between them, then slam the two dies together.
The Shield die will leave impressions on the Lincoln die and the Lincoln on the Shield.
Should the press operator know and cares and can do something about it, the images will be mechanically worked off the two dies the best they can.
For those “things” to be from a die clash there would have to be some design elements right at the rim.
There is nothing on the Lincoln side that is right at the rim.
It’s no from a die clash.
I’m not sure what caused it.

The only other time I have heard of a "mule die clash" was here.
Edited to remove link.
mistakes have been made
but the videos don't say how super extremely rare they are

It looks like the beginning stages of zinc rot to me. The coin appears to have corrosion already visible in several places.
Yup, the date and rim are rotting as we speak. Peace Roy

Are the square marks incuse or raised?
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
Thanks for the link @MsMorrisine
I learned something new today.

The chances seemed soo slim that I didn't take any time to research.
I was thinking maybe we were dealing with an alt but clearly more than one person could find this information.
Thank you for correcting me.
Now for a mule die clash
Those are tiny looking squares or rectangles that just barely extend past the rim.
It doesn’t fit a nickel obverse die.
I’ll let you explore other denominations on your own.
