I paid cash for my purchase yesterday, as I have for any coins I’ve ever bought at a coin show.

Nothing is as expensive as free money.

Witnessed a lot of cash deals including my own, checks with references, and saw a few Dealers offering credit card payments. If you want make sure you bring home that nice coin you’ve found, better have Benjamin’s.

Agree for a smaller purchase, but what about a five figure coin? I assume a check would be the norm in that case.

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Yes, as long as the dealers know who you are. They can always photocopy your ID for safety.

Off the top of my head at this FUN show was around 90% cash and 10% checks and I prefer checks as a general rule. As far as I know I didn't sell anything to dealers unless they were international. Was a good show BTW! Just wish I could have found more to buy. Absolutely nothing walked up to the table.

You get the best deals with cash. Some things never change. 😂

Always looking for original, better date VF20-VF35 Barber quarters and halves, and a quality beer.
