Is this an aftermarket NGC coin box?

First, I could/should ask the NGC forum, yet I forgot my login, so I am asking here...

Second, I wanted a dedicated NGC storage box for a few NGC coins I own. I searched for their older, classic box (opaque vs. the light gray newer ones). As I was doing so on eBay, I came upon the one shown below. It is the first red NGC box I've seen, and it occurred to me it might be an aftermarket box- not made by NGC.
Does anyone have experience or information regarding it? I ordered one regardless, yet I am curious as to its origin.

    I've got three of them but can't say how they were received. Other than what you see on the cover, there's absolutely no other printing on them. My pops did a lot of shopping via the cable coin channels...

    Looks really nice. I mainly have the PCGS blue and black boxes. I always have trouble with the NGC slabs in these PCGS boxes and have to use rubber bands to keep the tops tight. I did start buying the blue and red 10 count boxes that take all the different types of slabs with no need for rubber bands. However, they come from China.

    I try not to buy aftermarket boxes from some countries

    I want to add that NGC do not fit in pcgs boxes and the rubber band idea isn’t so good because they degrade and break.

    I suggest a WTB on the BST for extra NGC boxes. Perhaps someone will be nice enough to only charge you for s&h

    These were released by NGC mainly for the Chinese coin market:

    When I purchase boxes I buy these. They fit PCGS or NGC slabs. I like to mix TPG coins in my boxes.

    I have one of these for some of my NGC coins. No different than the silver boxes, except for the color.

    There available on eBay and they are an official NGC box. As mentioned pcgs and ngc do not interchange. Although the newer anacs fit in both 😉

    I remember years ago Teletrade gave me a box that would fit any slab.
    It was large and would hold 40-50 slabs. I wish I still had it.....

    I have two original PCI boxes from back in the late 1980s. I was surprised by what they go for on eBay when they occasionally turn up for auction.

    People collect the boxes? People will collect anything.

    I collect garbage along secondary roadways. Found a $5 bill the other day in a fast-food bag.

    Yep. I’m looking for an orange pcgs box that ain’t friggin $80. I would like one but I can buy an airbrush set complete with air compressor for less $. Make em any color I want 😂

    Seems to be quite a market for 'boxes' now.... I just have a lot of PCGS green boxes.... They work for me. Cheers, RickO
