When I first started collecting as a kid in the 70s I would go to the monthly card shows held at the Roosevelt Hotel in NYC. I still have the low grade cards I picked up in those days.

Don’t know about contemporary cards (seems unlikely, maybe a team postcard or something?) but he’s in the 1994 Ted Williams set and in the new set issued by the Negro League Museum last year. The latter set is all based on Greg Kreindler paintings and is beautiful.

Just got my ‘62 Minoso in! Then the wife and I had a huge blowup over cards, so probably the last mailday for a good while 🥴
