Yep! It's just crazy, 40% of all USD were printed in the last year. Am not jealous of the Fed, they can't raise interest rates or decrease the Fed balance sheet or else they'll crash the housing market and stock market. They especially can't do it now with political midterm elections. They'll appear impartial. We are in a mad world.

The midterm elections is the exact reason we are seeing "high" inflation right now. Powell says he is not going to take any measures to lower inflation until after the 2022 elections.
Especially if you're borrowing money that does zero to increase productivity to continue the spending.
First the COVID thing, now this.
